I felt like I was in a cozy motel room, which wasn't the most well-kept place, but it was comfortable overall. I had reliable hot water, easy bus access for a quick trip to the slopes, and a decent selection of channels, though some upkeep is needed.

The service was nice and understanding, but I had to wait for around 15 minutes during check-out, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite the wait, the staff was pleasant.

The location was a mix of plusses and minuses. I had a good view of the ski mountain, and the proximity to the Yampa River Trail was nice. However, it was a bit far from downtown. On the upside, being close to the mountain and right at the free bus stop was convenient. I could easily access both the ski area and downtown Steamboat.

The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the facilities were clean but slightly dated.
